RETAINERS-Farton Mitex & CTK standard bearing retainers are made from cold rolled carbon steel however, in cases of corrosive environment, misalignment,or high speed operation, stainless steel, or phenolic resins will be used upon request.
SEALS & SHIELDS-Farton Mitex & CTK shields also employ carbon steel as standard, and the option of AISI-300 stainless steel is available when needed. Farton Mitex &CTK users a variety of sealing materials to meet the requirements of high temperature operation and compatibility with greases. Buna Nitrile is the standard material used, while fluorocarbon, silicone, and teflon seals are commonly specified for high temperatures. LUBRICANTS-Farton Mitex &CTK standard greases are supplied with shielded or sealed bearings as standard Different types oil lubricants can be supplied upon request and are standard for open bearings.
